Internship

Concept and Planning for the Internship

The purpose of the internship in the Taipei National University of the Arts (TNUA) International Master of the Arts Program in Cultural and Creative Industries (IMCCI) is to combine practice and theory through actual participation in work related to cultural and creative industries at on- or off-campus bodies or organizations under the guidance of the supervisors at the host organization and the students’ advisers at the University.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned purpose, students have to select “Independent Study I.” They must first complete the application, and obtain approval from the program authorities before they can start the internship. The students have to conduct at least 200 hours of internship work, report to and regularly discuss with their University advisers, and observe all related regulations.

After the work of the internship has finished, the supervisors at the host organizations and the University advisers will grade the performance of the student based on their work during the internship and the weekly journal they have submitted.

After the completion of the internship, the students also have to complete an internship report under the guidance of the advisers for “Independent Study II” and submit an application for the degree examination.
